Culinary Arts Program

Program Objective

 

The culinary arts program is aimed to provide practical and hands-on experience to students who have true desires in working in the food service industry. Utilizing the National Restaurant’s Association’s ServSafe Curriculum, Amala Lives Insitute culinary program prepares students to learn the fundamentals of food safety concepts, food production, food hygiene and technology. Students are equipped with the business aptitudes needed to prepare them for successful careers in the food service and culinary industry.

 

Hospitality Arts Program

Program Objective

 

The Hospitality program is aimed to provide a training ground for students with a desire to pursue promising careers in the hospitality profession. Utilizing the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute’s (AHLEI) curriculum, the program of study will focus on teaching the fundamentals of Guest Services, Hotel Operations, Rooms Division and Travel & Tourism. The hospitality program will equip students with the business aptitudes needed to obtain successful careers in the hotel, hospitality and tourism profession.
