Amala Lives Institute will have clearly delineated, fair and objective standards for admission of all students. All admissions and enrollment information for all students will be documented in a student record file. The decisions regarding admission shall be made by the Admissions division who have no direct financial interest in whether a particular student is admitted.

Amala Lives Institute has set the following Admissions Requirements for the Hospitality and Culinary Arts non- degree programs:


• Potential student must submit an application;

• Potential student must be at least 18 years of age;

• The student must be a District of Columbia resident;

• Have a high school diploma or GED;

• Conduct an oral interview with the Admissions Team;

• Demonstrate a strong interest in the hospitality and or culinary arts industry;

• Once admitted, the student will complete required enrollment documents;

• Pay tuition and fees;

• Report to Amala Lives Institute to begin program of study;
